SAKIS SUPPORTS OUR NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM

The Greek supporters of the National Football (soccer) team were
split in 2. at the stadium of Boavista during the game with Spain,
the largest part were at the "horse shoe" of "Bessa" and the
families of the players as well as other guests of GFO (= Greek
Football Organization) were at the central row of seats. At
the "horse shoe" the cheering was left at the loudmouths that are
used to doing that sort of things. But at the central row of seats
the person that was responsible for the cheering of those 200 Greek
fans was no other than Sakis Rouvas!

Our pop star hasn't stopped cheering and encouraging the Greek team,
painted in our national colors white and blue as well as the famous
T – Shirt with the Greek flag, and carrying the crowd along with
him. Furthermore, Sakis proved once again how simple he is*. During
the hours he stayed at Oporto he hasn't stopped, except during the
game, to photograph himself and signing autographs and talking to
people who approached him.

The absolute star is also the most accessible!

…. The scene changes when Sakis Rouvas shows up. The crowds are
rioting when they see him. He is a true star, very popular among the
people he immediately becomes the centre of attention thought he
doesn't do it intentionally and he "hides" at his hotel room. A
little while later, after being "painted" by a make up artist in the
Greek colors (white and blue) he leaves the hotel and joins the rest
of the 4.000 Greek fans to the stadium to watch the game.
