Eurovision 2006: rumors saying Sakis will perform are fully denied

Sakis Rouvas is in discussions with ERT to host the 51st Eurovision
Song Contest as oikotimes.com first informed you. Greek media though
insist that Sakis will go to Eurovision Song Contest 2006 to
represent Greece. Oikotimes.com got in touch with sources close to
the artist and got the answer that the Greek media and press are
saying nonsense.

Sakis Rouvas only admitted to the Turkish press few weeks ago that
he was proposed both hosting and representing Greece. Though from
the first moment everyone knew that Sakis will chose the hosting.
ERT and Sakis are expected to make the official announcement of the
hosting soon and most probably after the sing up of the deal with
the female hostess.

Sakis Rouvas yesterday presented his new album which became platinum
already and on September 24th he will hold a concert at OAKA
complex. ERT's Elissavet Filippouli confirmed to oikotimes.com few
weeks ago that in the following order: Jennifer Aniston, Nia
Vardalos and then herself have to answer to ERT whether to host the
show along with Sakis or not. Until then the Greek media can delute
themselves with stories and fairytales.

Sakis Rouvas represented Greece in 2004 Eurovision Song Contest
with "Shake it" which was ranked 3rd and estimate in the
Europrediction as 2nd. Sakis Rouvas as host of the Eurovision
edition of Athens will definitely give extra glam to the show since
we have many years to see a memorable male host.
