SAKIS ROUVAS LIVE!

When Sakis appears on stage, it's like being hit by a tornado. You
are petrified and can't take your eyes of him, while he sings and
dances like there is no tomorrow.

With his appearance in Esc he became known not just to Ruslana or
Sertab but to the entire continent of Europe! He is an explosive
cocktail of talent, scene presence and Mediterranean charm, he
leaves none unmoved. It is no a coincidence that the title
of "Rouvitsa" is being proudly enjoyed by mothers and daughters,
intellectuals and clubbers, girls in their teens and women at their
late thirties. He has been characterized as a "Greek Phenomenon" in
France and that is a very fair description. Do you know anyone else
who could become "Sakis instead of Sakis"? When it comes to the huge
concert that he gave at the 25th of September at Lycabettus only one
word can describe the atmosphere: D – E – L – I – R – I – U – M.
Sakis, a sight for sore eyes: with short hair, black pants that fits
him like a second skin and sleeveless T – Shirt causes the audience
to scream when he shows up. Long winded "Sakiiiiiiiiii" are heard
everywhere, and the security personnel backstage are getting more
and more anxious to keep the "rouvomaniacs" from jumping on stage
and hug/ grab Sakis. He absorbs energy from the crowd, sends sexy
smiles to everyone and the show begins: "Ola kala" (= All is
alright), "Antexa" (= I resisted), "Disco Girl", "Shake it". The
dancers rip of his jacket. The crowd is getting into frenzy. When it
comes to Sakis the word star finds its true meaning. He accepts it
with joy and calm. When he sings the ballad "To hrono stamatao" (= I
stop the time) a girl is brought on stage and he sings to her
looking into her eyes. In the end he hugs her like she is his
sweetheart. There is no happier human being than her at the time!
And there is none we are more jealous …
