Sakis used to pole-vault. That's an undisputable fact. But what are his qualifications as a pole-vaulter?

I've read that he has represented Greece. But at what level? And what is his personal best as a pole-vaulter? Anybody who knows??

This link is the only source I have found that speculates about the height that Sakis would clear if he attempted to vault today. I find 4 meters 80 to be awfully high for someone that is not active.

I've seen pictures of Sakis practising pole vault in connection to an article on his official website (I think). Maybe this article says something about his former career? I don't know Greek, but if anyone has seen a translation of this article, please tell me where to find it.

I love athletics, so I'm really eager to know this about Sakis. Please help me! cyclops

This is from the link Malin provided in here.

Bookie's favourite Sakis Rouvas has recently posed for a set of photographs fully clothed! As unlikely as it may sound, he features in Traditional Costumes of the Lykeion ton Hellenidon, a collection of photos by US Based photographer Calliope. The collection features prominent Greek families, actors, artists, politicians and pop stars as models, wearing traditional costumes...it is somewhat removed from a recent set of photos of Sakis, which from all reports were dynamite! Another interesting fact about Mr. Rouvas is that he used to be in the Greek athletics team and can still pole-vault 4 meters 80 on a good day.
