PostSubject: GIF Tutorial   14th June 2010, 9:24 pm

Mo, sorry it took me so long to make this, but I was busy with the school and at some point I actually forgot about it. I hope you'll undersand and if not, ask me.
And I have no idea if I chose the right section to post it[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

For the capture you can use BSplayer. I use VirtualDub because it doesn't work with BS (I think it's because of the Windows). Save all the captures in one folder.

1. Open ImageReady

2. File - Import - Folder as Frames

3. Image - Image Size (and set the dimensions you want I'll use 130*98)

(4. Cut the unwanted parts only if you want)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

5. File - Edit in Photoshop (be sure the first capture and layer are selected)

6. Image - Canvas Size

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

7. Open a texture that we you use on the gif

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

8. Edit Free Transform and rotate/resize the image if you want and change the mode to Darker (or other mode)

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Then put again the texture in the other corner

9. Select the first layer, click on the 'ying-yang' button, then Solid Color and put black. The colour will be over the first layer, so drag it under so the colour will be now the first layer

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

10. Drag the texture with the bubble over the last layer

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

11. Click again on the 'ying-yang' button and choose Curves, Levels, Color Balance, Selective Color and play with the colours

12. Select the last layer (in my case, the second bubble) and type a text, then select the mode you want for it (I'll choose Linear Dodge)

13. File Edit in ImageReady

(14. I don't like the frames with the microphone so I'll delete them so if you don't like some frames delete them)

15. Select the first layer and drag it under the Color Fill

16. Select the first capture from the anymation and press Tween

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

17. Select the last capture and press Tween again

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

18. File Save Optimized As...

Well done, I like it!!!
Only one thing... Maybe you should change the delay because it moves a little too fast, but depends how you like it [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
